These no-bake raspberry Maltesers millionaire Rice Krispie slices are every bit as delicious as they look. The moment I spotted raspberry Maltesers in B&M, I knew exactly what I had to make. A few bags went straight into my basket, along with chocolate and Rice Krispies, and I headed straight to the kitchen.

I’m usually a classic Maltesers fan, those little balls of milk chocolate and honeycomb are one of my all-time favourite chocolates. But these raspberry ones instantly gave me Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and summer dessert vibes. Raspberry just works so beautifully in sweet bakes, especially when paired with chocolate.

One of the best things about this recipe is that it’s completely no bake and made as an easy traybake, which means minimal effort and maximum reward! If caramel usually scares you, don’t worry, this is a simple microwave caramel recipe, making it far easier than a traditional stovetop version.

Ingredients

Rice Krispies Base

  • 150g Rice Krispies
  • 300g Milk Chocolate
  • 150g Chopped Maltesers

Caramel

  • 200g Unsalted Butter
  • 397g Condensed Milk
  • 60g Golden Syrup
  • 45g Caster Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Raspberry Flavouring (I use Foodie Flavours).
  • 80g-100g Maltesers

Topping

  • 200g Milk Chocolate
  • 150g Maltesers Spread (Or Chocolate Spread).

Instructions

  • Line an 9 inch square baking tin with baking paper, leaving some overhang so the slice can be easily lifted out once set.
  • Gently melt the milk chocolate in the microwave in short bursts, stirring between each burst until smooth. Add the Rice Krispies and fold until fully coated. Stir through the raspberry Maltesers, then press the mixture firmly into the prepared tin to form an even base. Chill in the fridge while you prepare the caramel.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, condensed milk, golden syrup, caster sugar and raspberry flavouring (if using). Microwave in short bursts, stirring well between each one, until the mixture thickens into a smooth caramel.
  • Pour the caramel over the chilled Rice Krispie base and spread evenly. Top with raspberry Maltesers. Return the tin to the fridge and chill until the caramel is just set.
  • Melt the Maltesers spread with milk chocolate and stir until combined, then smooth it over the caramel layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until fully set. Once firm, lift out of the tin and slice into squares using a sharp knife.
