Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or follow the temperature guide on your puff pastry package. Make sure the oven is fully heated before baking for even cooking.
Unroll your ready-made puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface or parchment paper.Cut it into 8 equal rectangles. From 4 of the rectangles, cut thin puff pastry strips to create the mummy bandages later.
Place the 4 whole pastry rectangles on a lined baking tray.Spread a thin layer of tomato pizza sauce evenly across each rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges for a crispy crust. Sprinkle with your toppings of choice.
Arrange the cut puff pastry strips over the sauced rectangles to look like mummy bandages, criss-crossing them but leaving gaps for the eyes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden, crispy, and slightly puffed up. Keep an eye on them, as puff pastry can brown quickly depending on your oven.
Allow the pastries to cool slightly, then add candy eyes on top.Alternatively, you can use small mozzarella circles with halved black olives to make edible mummy eyes.
Enjoy! x
