Christmas Pudding Fudge

Christmas is coming, and that means mince pie season is in full swing! I’ve got plenty of mince pie inspired bakes coming to the blog, so keep an eye out for even more festive Christmas baking recipes.

This Christmas Pudding Fudge is one of the easiest holiday treats you can make. I use the condensed milk fudge method, which is incredibly simple, no oven needed! All you need is a microwave-safe bowl, a spatula, and a tin, and you’re ready to create the creamiest festive fudge EVER!

The base is a smooth milk chocolate fudge mixed with mincemeat to add that nostalgic, warming mince pie flavour. Once set, each piece is decorated to look like a mini Christmas pudding, complete with white chocolate and festive sprinkles. It’s a fun twist on classic Christmas desserts and the perfect edible gift for friends, family, teachers, neighbours, and Christmas party guests.

If you love traditional mince pies, enjoy easy no-bake Christmas treats, or simply want a cute, chocolatey festive recipe, this Christmas Pudding Fudge is guaranteed to become a new favourite. It’s quick, fun, festive, and bursting with Christmas flavour, perfect for the holiday baking season!

Ingredients You Need

Here’s what makes this Christmas fudge so delicious and perfectly festive:

  • Milk Chocolate– Forms the base of the fudge, giving it a rich, creamy, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Milk chocolate works best for that classic Christmas pudding flavour.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk– The magic ingredient for super smooth, creamy fudge. Helps the mixture set while still staying soft.
  • Mincemeat– Adds the iconic Christmas pudding / mince pie flavour. The dried fruits, spices, and citrus bring warmth and festive sweetness.
  • White Chocolate– Used for the “icing” decoration on top of the fudge once sliced into mini puddings.
  • Green & Red Sprinkles / Edible Decorations– Perfect for creating holly leaves and berries to make the fudge look like tiny Christmas puddings!

Storage Tips

  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Freezes well for up to 2 months (undecorated is best).
  • Keep chilled if giving as gifts to prevent melting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use dark chocolate instead of milk?

Yes! Dark chocolate will make the fudge richer and slightly firmer. It’s delicious if you prefer less sweetness.

Does the mincemeat make the fudge too soft?

No, as long as you use the correct ratio of chocolate to condensed milk, the fudge sets perfectly.

Can I add extras?

Absolutely! Chopped nuts, dried cranberries, or gingerbread biscuit pieces work wonderfully.

Can I make this without mincemeat?

Yes! Just leave it out for a classic milk chocolate fudge, then still decorate like Christmas puddings.

Can kids eat this?

Yes! Most mincemeat is alcohol-free, but check the label to be sure.
